Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD.

"For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God…"  (Ecclesiastes 2:26).

It’s not uncommon to hear some believers comparing themselves with the world, particularly in the area of finances. These are the ones who’re easily carried away with the vast estate, the splendour and wealth displayed by those in the world. Such Christians are ignorant of their inexhaustible riches in Christ Jesus. They’ve not discovered that the wealth of the heathen is laid up for them.

The Lord instructed us in His Word not to admire the rich man who doesn’t know Him. You’re not of the world, whose pride and confidence is in their academic accomplishments and business successes. The Bible says, “Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!” (Isaiah 31:1).

There are well-read doctors who, with all their academic accomplishments, live in abject poverty and are unable to pay their bills. So, you see, prosperity has nothing to do with educational prowess. You must recognize that your success is by God’s grace and is rooted in your knowledge of His Word. Therefore, be eager to fill your heart and mouth with the Word, so you wouldn’t talk like the world, for what you say matters

You must pay your tithes and give offerings, because the extent of your prosperity is measured by your giving and faith in God’s Word. You should never compare yourself to the person who doesn’t know anything about tithing or giving or the Word. Always remember that the wealth of the heathen is yours; it’s laid up for you. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

🌨️RHAPSODY OF REALITIES🌨️

πŸ‘€PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc.DD. πŸ—’️THURSDAY,20 JANUARY 2022πŸ—’️ ⏮️TOPIC: THE KINGDOM WAY OF LIFE  SCRIPTURE πŸ“– Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13) πŸ“THE MESSAGEπŸ“ When you were born again, you were born into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Even though you now live and walk in His presence, you still have to learn how to live in this real Kingdom of Light, and the Scriptures will help you understand this by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul writing to Timothy said: “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God…” (1 Timothy 3:15). This means there’s a way to behave oneself in the house of God. Christianity isn’t a way of life, but it has a way of life. In this Kingdom, there’s a language; we have our communication protocols. There’s a way of life; we think differently. This is something the devil doesn’t want many to know. He wants...

#RealityCheck

The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God.
