GLOBAL SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS

SUNDAY, 𝐉𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝟏𝟖th, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

𝐑𝐄𝐕. 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐃𝐃

🔴 I want to welcome you to this special and first global service. But it’s an internal global service for Christ Embassy Churches, mostly because many of the things we have to talk about are internal and not necessary for others to be included in it. I want to share briefly with you nice things from the Word of God.

🔴 2 TIMOTHY 3:12
At this point, Paul writes this epistle to his son in the faith, Timothy. He lets him know that all who will live the real Christian life will suffer persecution.

🔴 Persecution doesn’t only come from enemies. Sometimes it comes from fellow Christians. It happens many times because they disagree with you on something. There are people who preach the Bible but don’t study or know the Bible, so they have a generic understanding of the Scriptures—stories without depth or clarity.

🔴 Persecution can come from without or from within. It can come from your family or from the state. But wherever it comes from, God wants you to know that such things happen to God’s people.

🔴 VERSE 13
Evil men and seducers. Seducers are people who mislead others and steer them in the wrong direction of Satan to be destroyed—false doctrines. They themselves are deceived in the process of deceiving others because they are not walking in the truth.

🔴 VERSES 14–15
Some of us have known the Holy Scriptures from when we were young. He is not referring to knowledge in detail. The word “know” here is eido, which means to be aware.

🔴 Timothy, from a child, knew the Holy Scriptures to be God’s inspired message, but not with understanding, accurate knowledge, or discernment. The Scriptures have the ability and capacity to make you wise—the wisdom that keeps you within the ambits of God’s salvation, not worldly wisdom that is inconsistent with God’s salvation and destroys.

🔴 THE POWER OF THE SCRIPTURES
This beginning part of the year, you have to build your life on this solid foundation of the Scriptures. If you will give the Word of God prominence and priority in your life, you will be glad you did. Have a plan to give the Word priority. The time to start is now.

🔴 VERSE 16
Inspiration means “God-breathed.” All Scripture is carried by the Spirit; the Spirit transmits it (AMPC).

🔴 The Scripture is profitable. It will do you good. It will add benefit to your life. You make gains. It will not leave you the way you were before. It will improve your life. Get a way of doing things from the Word.

🔴 The Scripture gives instruction. Your life depends on godly instruction. God is boss. The earlier you accept that, the better for you. This makes you study His Word more so that you can know and function in His will, which is the best place to be. You learn about your Heavenly Father and what He wants.

🔴 “Lord, I don’t want a situation where I learn my lessons after things don’t work out. I want to know ahead of time what to do.”
“If this is the outcome that I want, what should I do?”

🔴 You learn to ask the right questions and to receive instructions. God does not sponsor foolishness. Sometimes He wants you to get the answer to “What shall I do?” from the Word.

🔴 The Scripture can show you if something is right or wrong. It can be used in reproving you, and you can be corrected. The Scriptures are profitable for training you in the life and way of righteousness. It is the manual for the life of righteousness. It shows you how to live for God, live in truth, and live in God’s will.

🔴 VERSE 17
Thoroughly furnished. You can have a well-balanced life—thoroughly equipped. Everything is present. You have everything to live the life God wants you to live. Good works refer to your productivity and output in life.

🔴 These are the results you want to have in 2026, so begin immediately to set yourself on course. The Word of God will program you for success.

🔴 Attend church services and make them an important part of your life. Our online services were not designed to keep you from coming to church; they were designed for certain kinds of convenience, such as when you are out of the city.

🔴 Don’t make online participation your primary plan. Remember, the Holy Spirit works with us in our plans. For example, in healing, you can lay hands or touch; for some persons, you are required to combine all—but the person needs to be present. Know the schedule of your church services.

🙏 GOD BLESS YOU

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
