~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.DSc.DD

In life, many people don't look at what God does for them.

Proverbs 21:18 says “...the wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous...”

— That means if there was something to destroy the righteous coming, God will give the life of the wicked in his place.

— Isaiah 43:4 also says “...I will give men for thy life...”

When you do anything for the Lord, don't watch out to see what you will “get” as though it was a trade by barter. It is not a trade by barter.

There are lots of other blessings that God gives you that you cannot quantify financially.

There's also what we call 'the heaping of  into the future'.

There are seeds you sow, some of those seeds may be for a child that you haven't even prayed about yet.

Don't say “I did this” and “even gave that” and I've never gotten this from the God...that means actually complaining against God.

But ask yourself a question, When you did what you did, did your heart accept God's word as true?, if yes, then have no problem, be grateful to him, be thankful to him because He has preserved your life, he has preserved you, and there are reasons for His preservation of your life.

PSALMS 138:8 says “...Thou will perfect that which concerneth me....”

Remember this, whatever you are doing for the Lord, keep doing. Don't let foolish men or foolish women change your mind from your righteous direction. Because what you are doing is not unto men, but unto God.

Have no fear because the word has the ability to produce for you what it talks about.

It is better to be called a fool for God.

We should never be carried away by those things which are empty. Go for those things that are real with God, those things that last with God.

You are not a success until you are changing other lives permanently. Changing lives for God's glory. Winning souls for God. Soul winning is God's number one choice.

Your world is your sphere of contact, start winning souls for God there.

You can't know how much is deposited in you until it comes out. Wisdom doesn't function in the brain. It comes out when you speak, it shows when you act. So, if you want to know whether your wisdom has been multiplied, start acting, you will see. Start talking, you will see. But if  you are quiet, wisdom can't talk through you.

Find someone to tell about Jesus. Don't wait and say “well, whenever somebody comes across my way, I will share the word” .......NO!!! ..... The Son of man did not come to wait for the lost, He came to seek the lost, looking for them.

It's your responsibility to prove the word of God in your life.

Your mouth charts your life!

GLORY TO GOD!!!!!

LIFT YOUR HANDS AND THANK HIM!!!!!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
