π΄Every human person belongs to a biological family. As an individual, you have a responsibility towards your own family.
π΄You must understand that no matter the kind of family you hail from, it isn’t a mistake that you were born there.
π΄Your birth was divinely orchestrated by God.
πGenesis 45:6-7 For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
π΄One of the essential responsibilities you owe to your family is to maintain and promote its integrity and fortunes.
π΄You have to uphold its values and moral standards, always seeking to protect whatever good the Lord has blessed it with.
π΄Now, you may say, “Pastor Chris, you don’t know the kind of family I come from. I have nothing to maintain, uphold, promote, or even inherit.”
π΄If that’s the case, then your job is to turn the situation around in your family.
π΄As a child of God, you have the power to change hopeless situations.
π΄It makes no difference that your family is poverty-stricken; or that family members are prone to some terminal disease; or that disharmony is the order of the day; you have the power as a Christian to put a stop to all these.
π΄Stand your ground and see to it that poverty, death, or rancour doesn’t continue in your family.
π΄Make up your mind to be highly successful and prosperous, so you can empower others.
π΄You’re a light to your family, because Christ lives in you. Therefore, take His message of life to them and watch their lives transform.
π΄ππππ πππ πππππππ – I’m an exceeding bright and shining light to my family. They are sanctified, blessed, healthy, and prosperous in all things, because of God’s Word on my lips and the power of the Holy Spirit flowing in and through me.
