🔴There are wrong assumptions holding many people from receiving from God.
🔴Assumptions, opinions and teachings not based on the Word of God have held many from receiving from God.
🔴To receive a miracle, therefore, you will have to rid yourself of these limiting assumptions. Some of them even sound religious or pious, but they can only offer human comfort devoid of the assurance of the Holy Spirit.
🔹𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟭: 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘 𝗜𝗙 𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗢
🔴This is one of the main assumptions and it centers around God’s willingness to heal.
🔴There are many today who have not received divine healing or some other miracle, because of their inassurance of His willingness.
🔴Many of them pray to Him to heal them, and do not get healed because they don’t really expect Him to heal them or they are not certain of His will.
☀️ “Is God willing to heal me? Will He heal me?”
☀️This is the question in many hearts today.
☀️They know they want to be healed.
🔴The doctor has given up hope or offers little of it.
🔴They are willing to be healed, but they have been told God heals whoever He chooses to, and doesn’t even do so all the time.
🔴So, they are not sure if they will be among the lucky ones to be healed.
🔴Generally, people don’t question God’s ability to heal them. Their doubts arise when it comes to His willingness to heal them particularly.
🔴However, the Bible clearly lets us know God’s will concerning divine healing.
☀️ “And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean” (Mark 1:40)
☀️This man was a leper who came outto Jesus in the city.
☀️When he saw Jesus, he bowed and worshipped Him and said, “Lord, if thou wilt thou canst make me clean”.
☀️Just like many people today, the leper didn't question the Lord’s ability. He probably had heard of His many miracles. He probably knew of some other leper who had been healed.
☀️Like some today, who are very much aware of their neighbour’s testimony of healing from cancer, or asthma, or diabetes, yet they wonder, ‘what about me?
☀️Yes, I know so and so was healed, but what about me? Will He heal me?’
🔴Thank God we have His Word to guide us.
🔴Thank God we can read the Lord’s reply.
🔴I always say that Jesus knew He was answering not only the question in the hearts of those who were present then, but that also of many generations to come. Thus, He both demonstrated and verbally affirmed His willingness to heal.
“And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth His hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean” (Mark 1:41).
☀️With much compassion, He stretched forth His hand and touched him even before he was cured, something that no one else would have done for fear of contamination. By that simple touch Jesus demonstrated love, compassion and acceptance
to the leper and gave him assurance of His
will to heal him, as He replied,
☀️“I WILL: be thou clean”.
🔴The reply of the Master still applies today, and should allay your fears.
🔴He can heal you, but even more importantly, He
wants to heal you.
🔴This should help you know the mind of God, so you can have the right attitude, perception and understanding of God’s Word on this issue, as these will positively influence the effectiveness of your
prayers.
🔴Believe it’s God’s will to heal you.
🔹𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮: 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢
🔴There are those who think that God would only heal someone when He wants to; and when He doesn’t, He wouldn’t.
🔴They think, ‘Whenever God chooses, He will heal
me,’ but that’s not true. It used to be true but it is no longer true.
🔴Let me illustrate it this way. Imagine that I am a student in college and my dad said to me, “I will send you money once every month”. Then I thanked him and went to school. Throughout that semester, he sent me money monthly, and I lacked nothing. Now that was the way we operated that whole
semester.
☀️Then came a new semester and my Dad said to me, “I have opened an account for you in a bank close to your school and deposited an amount of money in it, having known what it took you to go through the last semester.
☀️Whenever you need money, go down to that bank and get it yourself”. Now it’s no longer true this semester that he sends me money monthly. That was true last semester but things are different this new semester. Now there is a better system. All the money I would need for this semester has been paid to my account.
☀️Understand the difference?
🔴That is the same way God operates with us now.
🔴Back in the Old Testament, He said,“… I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy” (Exodus 33:19).
☀️But then He said to Abraham, “Through your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3).
☀️The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the Seed of Abraham to whom all the promises were made, and if you belong to Christ then you are Abraham’s seed, and an heir according to the promise (Galatians 3: 16, 29).
🔴So now that Christ has come, we are ‘the blessed’.
🔴God has given us all of the blessings in Him.
🔴He doesn’t have any more blessings He’s holding back from us, and saying, “Whenever I choose to, I’ll give it to you”. No! He has made all the blessings available to usin Christ Jesus.
☀️“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of world’ that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
(Ephesians 1:3-7)
☀️Notice that he didn’t say ‘who is going to’, but he said ‘who hath’.
☀️God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly realms.
☀️He didn’t say, ‘with some spiritual blessings’, but ‘with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ’
☀️Your health is just one of those blessings.
☀️Spiritual blessings are actually the greatest.
☀️All other blessings come from the spiritual, because the spirit world gave birthto the material world.
☀️The Bible tells us that “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”(Genesis 1:1). God pre-existed the heavens and the earth He created. God is a Spirit (John 4: 4), and if He being a Spirit, created the material and physical world, which He
did, then the spirit world in which God dwells must be greater than the material and physical.
☀️So, spiritual blessings gave birth to physical and material blessings.
☀️This means when God tells us He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, He has actually given us
everything. You see, in the mind of God, you have
been healed already.
☀️If you are born again,the Bible says of Jesus, “...by whose stripes, ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2: 24).
☀️Peter was referring to Isaiah’s prophecy in Isaiah 53.
☀️Isaiah in his time looked into the future andsaw Jesus giving Himself for the world. Then he declared, “...with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5).
☀️Peter, on the otherhand, looks back from a New Testament position at what Christ had already done, and affirms, “...by whose stripes YE WERE
HEALED.”
🔴This should correct the wrong assumption that God will heal only when He wants to, because He’s already done it.
🔴He did it 2000 years ago.
🔴So when does God want you healed? ‘2000 years ago’!
🔴This should let you know that God has done everything necessary for you to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
🔴But it’s one thing for God to give, and another for you to receive.
🔴Right now, you may not be experiencing the blessing you have desired for so long, but the problem is not with God giving it to you.
☀️Just like the illustration I gave of my dad opening an account for me, and depositing all the money I needed to go through the semester, God also has opened for us a joint account with Jesus and has made an all-sufficient, all-time deposit in that account.
☀️Everything Jesus has, and every right and privilege that He enjoys, belongs to you today.
☀️It is now up to you to make withdrawals on that account as often as you need to.
🔹𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟯: 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦
🔴This is a lie from the pit of hell, and alot of Christians have bought it hook, line and sinker.
🔴Quite a number of people, both believers and non-believers, sincerely believe that God inflicts sickness on His children to make them humble.
🔴In their religious minds, they think God knew that but for the sickness, some of His children would have lived terrible lives.
🔴But the Bible lets us know that “Every good gift and every perfect gift isfrom above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James
1:17).
🔴Only good gifts come from our heavenly Father.
🔴Sicknesses would hardly qualify as a gift, not to mention being a good or perfect one.
🔴Sickness is from the devil and God does not need the devil’s tool to fix any good thing for His children.
🔴Why would He have to use the instrument of Satan to perform a good deed in your life?
🔴If God put sickness on you to humble you and then you ran to your doctor, or took drugs to take away what God put on you to make you humble,
wouldn’t that be hypocrisy?
🔴The truth is God never inflicts sickness on any of His children to make them humble.
🔴A good father would never like to see his children suffer.
🔴Rather, he works hard to ensure they don’t. No earthly parent could love or care for his children better than God.
🔴No parent could be more willing to do good things for their family than He.
🔴God is the best daddy there is. He is your Father and He wants the very best for you.
🔴Recognize and take full advantage of the Fatherhood of God, knowing that His will is to bless and not to curse.
🔴John by the Spirit spoke the heart of God when he said, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and bein health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3John 2).
🔴This is God’s desire for you. He is more willing to heal you than you are ready to be healed. He anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and with power, and Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10: 38).
🔴Jesus was anointed to bless you. He was anointed to help you get well and livein health. That is what He came to do; to give you abundant life (John 10:10).
🔴God continually proves His willingness to heal people at our teaching and healing crusades. So many people are healed of diverse kinds of sicknesses; across several cities and nations. Christians, Muslims, atheists; all are healed, with some not even expecting to receive a miracle. Glory to God!
🔴This is just one simple proof of God’s willingness, and eagerness to heal.
✅Now let these truths be settled in your heart forever:
1️⃣🔥 GOD CAN HEAL YOU. HE HAS THE POWER TO.
2️⃣🔥 GOD WANTS YOU WELL.
3️⃣🔥 GOD’S WILL IS YOUR HEALING.
🔴If He has healed so many others before you, then He will heal you too.
🔴He paid for your healing in Christ Jesus.
🔴What He has done for one, He will do for anyone under the same circumstances.
🔴And even if your case is the first ever of its kind, God will meet you at the point of your need.
🔴He has healed many such “first cases” before.
🔴Remember Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever !
