*SERVE GOD WITH REVERENCE*

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit… *(Romans 1:9)*

To serve God with reverence means to serve Him with respect, love, and a sincere heart. He is not just someone we talk about; He is our loving Father, and He deserves our honor.

Paul in the Bible understood this very well. He said he served God with his spirit (Romans 1:9). That means he loved God from his heart and spirit, and lived every day to please Him.

As God’s child, you also should serve Him from your heart. Show reverence in the way you pray, speak, and behave. When you pray, remember you’re talking to your Heavenly Father. Be attentive and respectful, knowing He is always with you.

*John 4:23-24* But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. *24* God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

*LET'S PRAY*

Thank you, precious Father, for guiding me in the way I should go. My words, actions, and service bring honor and praise to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You served a Pastor, from cleaning his shoes and carrying his Bible to becoming his assistant pastor, now you have your work, you’re impacting your world and fulfilling your God-given purpose and destiny...
