His ultimate aim was to give us the God-life, the God-nature of righteousness, so we could be in fellowship with God. Your past with all the failures, weaknesses, and defeat, were buried with Him. Now that you’re born again, you have a new life in Christ Jesus; a life of glory and righteousness
