*GLORIOUSLY DISTINGUISHED*

_(You Are God’s Uniquely Treasured Possession)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*Deuteronomy 7:6 NIV*
_“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.”_

*LET’S TALK*

Have you ever paused to consider how special you really are? Just as no two fingerprints in the world are alike, no two people bear the exact same divine imprint. God, in His infinite wisdom, chose you—yes, you—to be His peculiar treasure, set apart to manifest His glory in a way no one else ever could.

The psalmist declared in Psalm 135:4, *“For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.”* This is not just ancient history—it is your present day reality! You are God’s chosen, consecrated, and glorious masterpiece. Ephesians 1:4 reminds us, *“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.”* Before the world even began, God had you in His heart, destined for greatness.

You are blessed beyond measure. So, why settle for seeing yourself as ordinary? When you realize that God has ordained your greatness, you begin to walk with a new confidence—a royal confidence! 1 Peter 2:9 affirms this truth: *“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people.”* You’re called not just to exist but to shine—to show forth the praises of the One who brought you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

The Word of God is your refining fire. As you meditate on it, you become like precious gold, shining brighter, growing more glorious. This is your true image: holy, excellent, washed, sanctified, and justified. Embrace it! Walk in your divine identity, for you are God’s treasured possession—uniquely designed to radiate His glory. Hallelujah!

*GO DEEPER*

*Ephesians 1:4 AMPC* Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.

*2 Timothy 1:9* Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

*PRAY*

_Dear Father, I thank you for making me your peculiar treasure, separated unto you for your glory and divine purpose. I walk in the consciousness of who I am in Christ; holy, excellent, sanctified and full of glory. Your beauty and righteousness are revealed in and through me more and more as I behold and live by your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...
