_(The Father Delights In Answering Your Prayers)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*John 15:16*
_“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”_

*LET’S TALK*

Did you know that praying in the Name of Jesus is like having *‘VIP Access’* to the most important person in the world? The Lord Jesus didn’t just give us a phone number; He gave us His own Name as the password!

One of the wonderful blessings of the new creation life is our privilege to talk directly to God in prayer and receive answers. Jesus said, *“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full”* (John 16:23-24). So, Leo’s fear that his prayers stop at the ceiling isn’t true. In Jesus’ Name, your prayers go straight to the Father. Hallelujah!

You have the right to pray directly to the Father in the Name of Jesus and receive answers to your prayers. Sadly, some folks don’t have confidence in their own prayers, so they look to others to pray for them. They feel like they’re *‘too young’* or not *‘holy enough’* for God to listen. But if you’re born again, that shouldn’t be your story for the Bible declares in 1 Peter 3:12: *“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers...”*

Thus, you’re guaranteed to receive answers to your prayers—Jesus has chosen you and ordained you to receive answers to prayers. This should make your prayer times exciting moments with the Lord, for you know that every time you pray, you’ll surely receive answers. Therefore, the next time you kneel or lift your hands to pray, remember the words of Jesus---*”but I have chosen you, and ordained you... that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”* God isn’t holding back from you, so never doubt His willingness to respond to your requests. He loves to hear your voice in prayer and delights in answering your prayers.

*GO DEEPER*

*John 16:26-27* At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: *27* For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

*Matthew 21:22* And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

*PRAY*

_Precious heavenly Father, thank you for the wonderful blessing of praying in the Name of Jesus and the confidence of knowing that your ears are open to hear and answer my prayers always. I rejoice to know that you’ve ordained me to receive answers to my prayers; thus, I see the results of my prayers in my life and in the lives of my loved ones, in the Name of Jesus. Amen._

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
