Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Friday, October 23rd 2026,   HIGHER STANDARDS   (Live Above The Indecent   Standards of The World) 📖TO THE BIBLE - 2 Corinthians 6:17  “Therefore ‘come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.’”   LET’S TALK ➡️  Marine biologists have observed that fish placed in polluted water gradually adapt to it. They don’t recognise the contamination because they’ve grown accustomed to swimming in it. Only when transferred to clean water do they realise the difference.Similarly, when you’ve been surrounded by certain behaviours long enough, they begin to feel normal, even when they’re slowly degrading the standards you once had.   As a Christian, you should never be swayed by the world’s standards. God’s Word teaches us moderation, not excess. There are things you just shouldn’t allow. As a Christian, you have a higher life with higher standards. There s...

═══════════════╗   RHAPSODY OF REALITIES    FOR EARLY READERS ╚════════════════╝ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME FRIDAY, 23RD OCTOBER 2026 Your Prayers As Incense   📖Revelation 5:8  …golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  Did you know that when you pray, something beautiful happens in heaven? The Bible says your prayers rise up to God like sweet-smelling incense.   In Bible days, priests burned incense as part of worship. Today, your prayers are like that incense before God. When you talk with Him, thank Him, or pray for others, your words rise to Him like a sweet fragrance.   King David understood this when he said, “Let my prayer be set before You as incense…” (Psalm 141:2). God loves to hear your prayers, so keep praying always because He plans to answer. Your prayers are precious to Him.   📚Scripture Reading-Revelation 8:4   Let’s Pray Dear loving Father, you’re worthy of my praise and worship. As ...

▪️As a child of God, the Bible says whatsoever you do shall prosper (Psalm 1:3).  ▪️Never be idle.  ▪️Refuse to be jobless.  ▪️If you don’t have a job, make one.  ▪️Find something you’re good at; something that’s good for God and good for people, and start doing it.  ▪️Refuse to let your mind go to sleep. Don’t loaf about like a hobo.  ▪️Look inwards for creative ideas. ▪️Someone may say, “I’ve searched for jobs everywhere, for ten years, to no avail; I’m getting frustrated,” My question to you is ‘What can you do?’  ▫️There must be something you’re good at, find it and do it.  ▫️The first requirement for success is looking out for a human need, and then reaching out to meet that need.  ▫️So don’t wait until someone gives you a job, make one!  ▫️Before long, if you’re diligent, what you started will grow and you’ll be employing others. ▪️Stop waiting; do something.  ▪️Take a step of faith.  📖 Ephesians 4:28 Let him...

_The best medicine for the body is the Word of God. Learn to frequently speak words of health over your body. Too often, people want to live in good health, yet with their words, thoughts and actions, they are doing just the opposite. Understand that your faith will work in either direction, positively or negatively._  _Consciously and unconsciously, we prepare for the wrong things when we imagine the wrong things. What your mind envision, you attract._  _Quit putting your faith in the wrong things, and start agreeing with what God says about you. Remember, life has its responsibility of distracting you but you have the responsibility of remaining focus! Most people fail because of broken focus. You are responsible for how you act no matter how you feel. Maturity is when you come to terms with the realization that your life today is the harvest of the seeds you planted sometime back. Take ownership of your life, and discipline your habitual thoughts, words and actions to line up with God's destiny for you. Flame the fire you have within you. There's no challenge that comes to you that you are not greater than. Regardless of what life throws at you, you have the capability to overcome it, but until you take responsibility, nothing happens. The choice is always yours.  ~ Pastor Chris

╔════════════════╗   *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*     *FOR EARLY READERS* ╚════════════════╝ *👤PASTOR CHRIS* 22nd October *GOD'S PLAN* And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men *(Colossians 3:23)* God has a special plan for your life. As you study His Word, you learn what He wants you to do. But distractions like worries, games, or unimportant things can pull your attention away. That’s why you must stay focused on Him. Jesus said His goal was to do God’s work and finish it (John 4:34). Paul also kept going, not minding what happened (Philippians 3:13–14). They didn’t give up. So, be faithful in what God gives you to do. Do it with all your heart. Stay focused, finish well, and please God every day. *📖SCRIPTURE READING*  *2 Timothy 4:7* have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: *LET'S PRAY* Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your plan for my life. I stay focused on you, and do what you’ve told...
