For some people, reality is their human experience, but our reality is Christ. In Christ, it’s possible to be joyful all the time. You can be joyful every day and be successful every day, irrespective of what happens to you or around you, because that’s God’s desire for you. He wants you to be joyful and successful. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?_ *(Romans 6:1-2)* Some Christians have been taught to *"die to sin."* As a result, they're constantly struggling, praying, and striving to overcome sin, hoping that one day they'll finally attain victory. But that's not what the Scriptures teach. The Bible doesn't tell you to die to sin; it says you're already dead to sin.   Notice the language of the Apostle Paul. He doesn't say, *"Try to die to sin,"* or *"Keep dying to sin."* He says, *"How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"* Through your union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, you died to sin. They may be young, inexperienced, or still learning, but their status isn’t something they have to earn through their achievements.
