*OUR LEGAL POSITION*

_*📖And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).*_

Many Christians know that the Lord Jesus is seated at the right hand of God but haven't fully understood what that means for them. The Bible says God raised Christ from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:20).

The Word tells us exactly where that place is: “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named...” (Ephesians 1:21). That's the place of absolute authority. And the remarkable truth is that God raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Your place isn't merely near Christ; it's in Him. That's your legal position.

Think of the President of the United States. He may be at home with his family, or travelling in a motorcade, or
walking through a public space, but his legal office doesn't change because of his physical location. Whatever he says or authorises carries the full authority of the office he occupies. His location may vary, but his position remains
the same.

That's exactly what God wants you to understand about yourself. Though you live on earth and carry out your daily responsibilities here, your legal office is with Christ in the heavenly realms, far above every principality, power, might, dominion, and every name that is named. This is where God has positioned you.

Therefore, when you speak in the Name of Jesus, you speak from that place of authority. When you exercise dominion over circumstances, sickness, or the forces of darkness, you're acting from your legal position in Christ.

Many around you may see you as an ordinary person, just as someone might casually meet a president without recognising who he is. But your effectiveness isn't determined by what others know about you; it's determined by what you know about yourself. Live with the consciousness of your heavenly position. Know who you are and from where you function. You're seated together with Christ, far above every power of darkness, and that's the basis of your authority and victory in life.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for raising me up together with Christ and seating me with Him in the heavenly realms, far above every principality, power, might, and dominion. Today, I live with the consciousness of my exalted position in Christ and exercise authority from that place of victory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
