*THE PRICE WAS FULLY PAID*

_All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all_ *(Isaiah 53:6)*

When Jesus hung on the Cross, He wasn't there because of anything He had done. He was there because of us. The Bible says, *“...the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all”* (Isaiah 53:6). Every sin, every transgression, every act of unrighteousness was laid upon Him. He became the sin-bearer for the whole world.

When that was consummated in the realm of the spirit, something happened that had never happened before: The Father turned His back on Jesus because our sins had been laid on Him. God is so holy that He doesn't look upon sin. Bearing the sins of the world, Jesus cried out, *“...My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”* (Matthew 27:46).

This was why He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, *“...if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt”* (Matthew 26:39). He never wanted to be separated from the Father, yet He willingly accepted it because of us.

In the mind of divine justice, every one of us was on that Cross. We were in Him in His crucifixion. We were in Him in His death. When He died, we died. In that death, every man paid for his sins: every man who lived before the Cross, everyone who lived at that time, and everyone who would ever be born into this world.

His blood was divine, and it was adequate. You need never pay again for your sins. Years ago, I knew a guy who did something wrong and gave himself seven knocks on the head as punishment. When I asked him why he did it, he simply said, *"Because I did something wrong."* He didn't understand the Gospel.

Jesus already bore the punishment for sin. No more punishment remains for those who have accepted His sacrifice. Hebrews 10:14 says, *“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified,”* and continues in the 26th verse, *“…there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.”* Those who reject His sacrifice choose to bear the consequences themselves, but no one could ever pay for sin apart from Christ.

What a glorious Gospel! The price has been paid in full. Walk in the liberty of this truth. Refuse every form of guilt, condemnation, or self-punishment. The Lord Jesus bore your judgment completely, and through His finished work you've been freely justified before the Father. Hallelujah!

*CONFESSION*

_The Lord Jesus bore my sins and paid the full price for my justification. I rejoice in this glorious truth and live in the liberty of Christ, free from guilt, condemnation, and every consciousness of sin. I walk in the light of my justification, knowing that the price has been paid in full, in Jesus' Name. Amen._

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*Romans 5:8-11* But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. *9* Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. *10* For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. *11* And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

*2 Corinthians 5:21* For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

*Hebrews 10:11-14* And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: *12* But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; *13* From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. *14* For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
