THE TRANSFORMING MIRROR
(How the Word Changes You)

📖TO THE BIBLE - Romans 12:2
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

LET’S TALK➡️
“I don’t like how I look,” Chloe muttered, adjusting her
glasses. “I just feel so... average.”
Jerry looked at her and smiled: “That’s because you’re
looking in the wrong mirror.”
Chloe frowned: “Wrong mirror? I’m looking at the only
one I have.”
“The Word of God is the real mirror,” Jerry replied.
“When you look into it, you don’t see ‘average.’ You see God’s masterpiece.”

The Word of God has the ability to produce what it talks about. That’s why Jerry told Chloe she was looking in the wrong mirror. The physical mirror only shows your outward appearance, but the Word of God reveals who you truly are in God’s eyes. When it addresses a particular situation, divine power is released, thereby causing that situation to align with the Word. God’s Word is the solution to every challenge. It has an inherent ability to cause changes.

This is why it’s imperative for you as a Christian to study and imbibe God’s Word, for it has the ability to transform your life, energise you for victory, and programme you for success.

As you meditate on the Word, there’s a transformation—a metamorphosis—that takes place in your life; the Word produces in you what it talks about. If you struggle with feeling insecure, for example, and you keep studying and confessing the Word about how God loves you and accepts you in Christ, your self-image will be compelled to align with that truth. That’s the transforming ability of God’s Word; it comes to you with the capacity and power to make you exactly what it says.

If you’re facing any difficulty in your life today, or maybe you simply desire a change, don’t despair. What you need is to get into the Word and locate the scriptures that deal with that situation and begin to meditate on them. There’ll be a transformation; a positive change will be effected in your life! Hallelujah!

Pray
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that transforms my life. My heart is forever open to receive your engrafted Word with meekness, faith, and gladness. I declare that your Word is producing in me the fruit of what it talks about, as I yield myself to the ministry of your Word, knowing that it’s able to build me up and deliver to me an inheritance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
