*OBTAIN A GOOD REPORT*

For by it the elders obtained a good testimony *(Hebrews 11:2)*

To have a good testimony means living in a way that pleases God. The Bible says it's impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6). This shows that faith is very important to God.

Abraham had a good report because he believed and obeyed God. When God told him to go to a new place, he obeyed even though he didn't know where he was going (Hebrews 11:8). Because Abraham trusted God, he was called God's friend (James 2:23).

You can live this way, too. Believe God's Word, and act on it every day. As you do, your faith will grow, and your life will bring joy to God.

*📖SCRIPTURE READING* 

*Hebrews 11:4-7* By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. *5* By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. *6* But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him:] for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. *7* By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

*SAY THIS*
My faith grows as I act on God's Word. I please Him with my life, and walk in His blessings every day. Hallelujah!

You served a Pastor, from cleaning his shoes and carrying his Bible to becoming his assistant pastor, now you have your work, you’re impacting your world and fulfilling your God-given purpose and destiny...  𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?   SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him.
