*THINKING GOD’S THOUGHTS*

 _(Access the Mind of Christ)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*1 Corinthians 2:16*
_“For ‘who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”_

*LET’S TALK*

When you were born again, you became a new creation and a partaker of God’s divine nature with His genetic code. That immediately made it possible for you to know God’s mind and access His thoughts. No wonder the Contemporary English Version of the opening scripture says, *“we understand what Christ is thinking.”* That’s because, as Christians, we have the mind of Christ. The realities of God’s Kingdom are no longer a mystery to us since we’ve been brought into God’s class of being; we can now function and reason like Him.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). As you learn God’s Word and store it in your heart, it influences the character of your thoughts! You become conditioned to thinking God’s thoughts. Meanwhile, to some, God is a mysterious and unpredictable personality whose ways are past finding out. Such folks love to quote the words of the Prophet Isaiah: *“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ says the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts’”* (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Some teens read that and quietly think, *“Then what’s the point of trying to understand God?”* But that scripture addressed the Old Testament folks who weren’t born again. Today, in the New Testament, the Bible declares that we have the mind of Christ; that means His ways have become our ways, and His thoughts have become our thoughts. Hallelujah! So, get acquainted with the Lord through His Word. The more you know Him, the more His nature and thoughts are revealed to you. Praise God!

*GO DEEPER*

*Luke 8:10* And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

*Romans 12:2* And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

*PRAY*

_Dear Father, thank you for sanctifying my mind to think like you. Thank you for making it possible for me to reason at your high level of wisdom, where I have a perfect understanding of all things. Thank you for unveiling to me the mysteries of your eternal Kingdom and granting me insight into your ways, irrespective of my age, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

*DAILY BIBLE READING*

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
