π΄Take church seriously. Go to church; make it a habit.
π΄It’s a Christian habit to go to church, so cultivate it. It’s important.
π΄Coming together to pray is also a Christian habit. The word of God expects us to do so.
π΄There’s a way you ought to behave when you come into the house of God, because church isn’t like everywhere else. It’s a place of worship. There’s an attitude of reverence you ought to have when you come to church.
π΄Prayer is our way given to us by God to invite Him into our circumstances.
π΄He gave us the privilege, the honor, and the right of prayer, so when we pray He can step into the situation and do for us what otherwise would’ve been inconsistent for His character to do because of the condition of man’s spirit. So He tells us to pray for all men because God loves all everybody.
π΄He tells us that if we would pray then we would have the results; we can then have a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. This is not heaven; He didn’t say this would happen to you in heaven. If you pray, you are going to have this in your country; in your city.
π΄Don't steal. Christians don't steal.
π΄Don't cheat people. Nobody steals and begins to prosper. You will never get there. Cause when you steal and put it in your pocket, it will tear your pocket. You will always be poor and remain at that level.
π΄Don't use bad language.
π΄In Christianity, we say what is good and helpful to others and it must give a blessing. We must always practice speaking right.
π΄Stop being mean, bad-tempered and angry.
π΄Use words that heal people, cure and make demons tremble.
π΄Be a master of words like Jesus. In Christ Jesus we build others. We make them feel like they are special and they are somebody. This is what Jesus thinks of them.
π΄Christianity must be practised.
π΄Excel in your Christianity. Do your Christianity.
π΄Be an example.
π΄Godliness is about your demeanour.
π΄Your dressing matters; some piety is necessary in your dressing.
π΄There’s a decency that goes with the Spirit of God, and that decency must be in your life.
π΄There’re outward things that people should see in you, and say, “Yes, this is a Christian.”
π΄They can’t see it in your heart, but can see it in your character. That’s what godliness is about.
π΄There’re movies you shouldn’t watch.
π΄There’re books or magazines you shouldn’t read.
π΄There’re places you just shouldn’t be found in, because you’re different.
π΄And if for any reason you find yourself in such places, you ought to go in there with godly piety. Yes, that’s the life you’ve been called to live.
π΄Your presence in a place should exude and transmit the righteousness of God, for you’re a tree of righteousness, producing fruits of righteousness.
π΄Never lose sight of who you are; you’re different.
π΄You’re the symbol and embodiment of God’s glory, perfection, beauty, and righteousness. See and carry yourself as such:
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9 AMP).
