*YOU'RE A WITNESS TO YOUR WORLD*

And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him. *(Acts 5:32)*

A witness is someone who tells others what they know to be true.

When you were born again, you became a witness for Jesus. This means you can tell people around you, your friends, classmates, and neighbors about Him. You can share His love and His truth everywhere you go.

Jesus said He is the Vine and we are the branches (John 15:5). This means that when we stay close to Him, good things show in our lives. One of those good things is telling others about Jesus, and sharing God’s message of hope and salvation.

So remember this: telling others about Jesus is very important. Be a witness for Him every day, wherever you are.

Thank you, precious Father, for making me a witness of your truth and grace. Every day, I boldly share Jesus with others everywhere I go, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart.
