THE DARKNESS IS OVER

Isaiah 9:2 
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light...

The Bible tells us that people who once walked in darkness have now seen a great light. That light is Jesus. When you received Jesus into your heart, His light came into your life. Darkness can mean fear, sickness, sin, or sadness. But because you’re in Christ, darkness has no power over you anymore. You live in God’s light every day.

The Bible says God’s light shines in our hearts, and nothing can stop it. So when things feel difficult at school, at home, or anywhere else, remember this truth: the light of Jesus lives in you, and it drives away darkness.

So say it boldly and joyfully: “The darkness is over! God’s light shines in me forever!” Glory to God!

SCRIPTURE READING
John 1:4-9 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. [6] There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. [7] The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. [8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. [9] That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

LET'S PRAY
Dear loving Father, thank you for Jesus, the light of the world. Thank you for bringing light and life into my heart. Help me share this light with others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

You served a Pastor, from cleaning his shoes and carrying his Bible to becoming his assistant pastor, now you have your work, you’re impacting your world and fulfilling your God-given purpose and destiny...  𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?   SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him.
