~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD.

πŸ”΄If you’re selfish and only care about yourself and your biological family then God can’t do much with your life.

πŸ”΄As an adult, you have a responsibility to every child; every child is your child. This must become your personal philosophy.

πŸ”΄No child made a choice to be born into poverty; they do not deserve to feel the crippling effects of poverty.

πŸ”΄Poverty is demeaning.

πŸ”΄Poverty is dehumanising.

πŸ”΄Poverty robs children of their childhood, the foundation of the world’s future.

πŸ”΄Take care of children wherever you are.

πŸ”΄For instance, if a child or a group of children without an adult is trying to cross the road, help them do so. Don’t let them run through and get knocked down by a charging vehicle with some drunk driver.

πŸ”΄Children are the future of any society. Therefore, protect every child.

πŸ”΄Every stray child should become your responsibility.

πŸ”΄Every hungry child should become your responsibility.

πŸ”΄When you understand life this way, God will send angels to bless you with the good things of life and you’ll never lack. He’ll provide for you so you can care for the needy children around you.

πŸ”΄Think about the children and help!

πŸ“–Matthew 19:14 KJV (Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven) highlights the Lord’s attitude towards children; they’re so important to Him and He’s unwilling to overlook them.

πŸ”΄As a child of God, this ought to be your attitude; give attention to children and ensure they’re protected and well taken care of. As you do this, you’d be contributing to a better and greater future for your nation.

πŸ”΄Be Concerned Also About Orphans

πŸ”΄When a child loses his father or mother, and especially both parents, that child is like a wanderer in the desert, without a guide and a helper.

πŸ”΄He’s as one lost in the sea of life without somebody to ask pertinent questions, and provide answers about life and the future. He’s left comfortless.

πŸ”΄This is why it’s so important to pray for children, especially the bereaved ones, and be willing always to help them.

πŸ”΄Remember, every child is your child.

πŸ”΄You don’t have to be an orphan before you’re touched with the feeling of their infirmity.

πŸ”΄Become concerned enough to lend a helping hand.

It’s my prayer that the Lord will empower you and enable you to help needy children this year, more than ever before.

Yes, you’ll do it! Even if it’s only one person you’re able to help, do it, for it’s worth it.

The day you’ll stand before the Master, He’ll reward you for this noble work.

Remember His words: “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:42).

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
