HSLHS DAY 3 OCTOBER 25 2026

REV CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD

1 John 1:2
This is extraordinary. Think of what He is telling you. "The life was manifested and we have seen it". Seen what? He gives the definite article to this life and says we have seen it. He is talking about the divine essence being manifested.
How can you see something that is impossible to see?
That's why He says it was manifested.
Can you see what makes you live?
You don't even see the air you breathe.
Only by the Holy Spirit can the high truths of God be made known.
What John is doing here is that He is picking up from a story He told in St John's gospel where He told us "in the beginning was the word and the word was with God...'
That eternal life was with the Father.

John 1: 1-4,9-11,14
He was with God. He was God and was manifested to us as a man.
He "WAS" with God because he became manifested to us.
v9: What a truth!
v14: The better translation is "The Word BECAME flesh"
He was with God. He was God. He became a man like all of us.
They thought he was an ordinary man but He made the whole world.
He became flesh and dwelt among us.
How Great is He!! Full of Grace and Reality!

John 5: 20. 1John 5:20 NKJV, AMPC
SON OF GOD does not mean one that is born by a Father. It means God manifest in the flesh. That's why He was crucified. Because He dared to say He was the son of God. They said He was blaspheming the name of God and crucified him.
 But He was right.
The High Priest questioned him "are you the son of the Highest". As Jesus said "Yes", He tore his clothes and sanctioned his crucifixion.
1 John 5v20: This [Man] is the true God and life Eternal.

When you receive Jesus Christ unto your heart you are receiving life eternal.
That life is the endless, indestructible, imperishable, insoluble, unbreakable life.
Let that life spring forth through your spirit soul and body. Every human is a spirit being. He has a soul and lives in a physical body.

Your soul is where your mind is, your emotions, your will is. Where you make decisions. It's a tool that belongs to you.
You are a spirit being.

Hebrews 4:12 AMPC.
The word of God is active, operative, energizing and effective. If you listen to it it will become active and effective in you. That's why God told Joshua in the OT to meditate on the word. It will make you successful.

Matthew 15:29-32
Jesus had compassion on the multitude.
He has not changed. He still has compassion today.
Jesus always talked about how to bless people.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
