*RIGHTEOUSNESS APART FROM THE LAW*

_*📖But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets (Romans 3:2).*_

Many have read Paul's words in Romans chapter three and concluded that no one can be righteous before God. They quote what’s written in the 10th verse, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one,”and assume that's God's present description of all men. But if you carefully follow Paul's argument, you'll discover that he wasn't addressing those in Christ. He was speaking to those who were under the Law.

The Jews believed they had an advantage because they had the Law, while the Gentiles were regarded as outsiders, estranged from the covenants of promise. But Paul argued that having the Law didn't make anyone righteous. If righteousness came through the Law, then every requirement of the Law had to be fulfilled perfectly.Yet, the very Law they trusted testified against them. It declared, “There is none righteous, no, not one” (Psalm 14:3).

Paul quoted the Law extensively and then drew a powerful conclusion: “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law...” (Romans 3:19). The Law exposed sin and rendered the whole world guilty before God, as Paul further explained, “…by the law is the knowledge of sin” (Romans 3:20).

The Law revealed man's condition, his sin-nature, but it couldn't produce righteousness. Then came the new order, one of the most glorious transitions in Scripture: the revelation of God’s righteousness apart from the Law as read in our opening scripture. This righteousness isn't earned by works or by keeping the requirements of the Law. It's God's own righteousness, revealed and bestowed through faith in Jesus Christ.

Now that you’re born again, you've been justified freely by His grace. You're not struggling to become righteous. The righteousness that the Law could never produce has been imparted to you as a gift through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). He’s been made your righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21). Blessed be God! Therefore, see yourself as God sees you:holy, accepted, sanctified, and justified in Christ Jesus.

 PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for revealing your righteousness through Jesus Christ, making Him to be sin for us that we might be made righteous. I walk in the consciousness of my justification and oneness with you. I live victoriously today, free from condemnation and fully established in your righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
