*DIVINE ENCOUNTERS ARE REAL*

_(God Desires To Visit You)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*Hebrews 13:2*
_“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.”_

*LET’S TALK*

The Scriptures contain several accounts of men and women who experienced divine visitations. Sometimes it was a visit by an angel; at other times, it was the Lord Himself. The Bible tells us about Abraham, who, on a certain day, sat in his tent door in the heat of the day and saw three men passing by. By faith, he perceived they weren’t ordinary men and called out to them to stop over for some refreshments (Genesis 18:1-5). It turned out that one of the three men was the Lord Himself, while the other two were angels. But guess what? It was during that encounter that the Lord told Abraham exactly when Sarah would conceive and give birth (Genesis 18:10).

When Jacob was at a crossroads in his life, it took a divine visitation from the Lord for him to experience the turnaround he had long desired. He was alone one day when an angel came to him and wrestled with him all night long (Genesis 32:24). At the break of dawn, he realised the angel wasn’t an ordinary angel but the Spirit of God Himself, and pleaded with Him to bless him. That was the day the Lord changed his name from *“Jacob”,* which hitherto meant *“usurper”’* or *“swindler”, *to *“Israel,”* which means *“a prince of power with God.”* That divine visitation changed his destiny and set him on the path of greatness.

We’re in the last days, and God wants to visit you and touch your life in a special way. Divine visitations weren’t reserved only for folks in the Old Testament; you can expect to be visited by God as well. A divine encounter with the Lord will definitely change your life forever. He can visit you in your room, at school, on your way home, or even while you sleep! But you can be sure that when He does, your life won’t remain the same. Glory to God!

*Joshua 5:13-15 (GNB)* While Joshua was near Jericho, he suddenly saw a man standing in front of him, holding a sword. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you one of our soldiers, or an enemy?” *14* “Neither,” the man answered. “I am here as the commander of the Lord's army.” Joshua threw himself on the ground in worship and said, “I am your servant, sir. What do you want me to do?” *15* And the commander of the Lord's army told him, “Take your sandals off; you are standing on holy ground.” And Joshua did as he was told.

*SPEAK*

_Precious Holy Spirit, I’m sensitive and alert in my spirit to recognise moments of divine visitations so that I’ll receive every blessing that you desire to impart into my life. I recognise that this is my season for divine visitations, and I welcome all such visitations, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen._

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
