YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER
(It’s The Father’s Good Pleasure To Hear You)

TO THE BIBLE - John 15:16
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

LET’S TALK
The Old Testament folks always had to resort to the prophets and seers to enquire of the Lord. It wasn’t a common revelation amongst the people to talk directly to God in prayer and expect to receive an answer from Him. However, when Jesus came, He made it clear that it was the Father’s desire for us to boldly and confidently talk directly to the Father in prayer and receive answers: “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24).

The “day” that the Lord Jesus spoke of isn’t a twenty-four-hour day but a dispensation, a season, a set time in which you could make requests and receive answers to your prayers. Thanks be unto God! This is that set time! We’ve come into “that day” that Jesus was referring to. If you’re born again, you have the privilege of being able to pray and receive the answers to your prayers instantly: “...whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:24).

There’s no need to look for someone to pray to God for you; there’s no need to cry and keep reminding God of your troubles: just ask in faith and in the Name of Jesus, and your requests will be granted. Whether it’s about your grades, your future career, your friendships, or whatever, you can talk to Him directly. Always remember that it’s the Father’s delight to answer your prayers; it’s His good pleasure to give you the wonderful treasures of His kingdom (Luke 12:32). So, ask boldly. Believe confidently. Receive joyfully. Glory to God!

GO DEEPER
John 16:26-27 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: [27] For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

PRAY
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege and opportunity to fellowship with you in prayer and make my requests known unto you. I rejoice at your Word that lets me know that your ears are attentive to my requests and that it’s your good pleasure to grant my heart’s desires. Thank you for this wonderful blessing and privilege, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
