*LOVE THE CHURCH FROM YOUR HEART*

_Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood_ *(Acts 20:28).*

The Church of Jesus Christ is the most powerful organism in the world. We’re far more than an organization; we’re an organism. The Church is a living thing, the living body of Christ in the earth. This is why your attitude towards the Church matters a great deal. You must consciously love the Church of God from the depths of your heart. 

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, describes the Church as that which God *“purchased with his own blood.”* The Lord Jesus paid an extraordinary price for the Church, the price of His blood, His very life. Therefore, to love Christ is to love His Church. 

This love must go beyond the walls of your local assembly or denomination. Sometimes, people become so conscious of denominational differences; names, structures, or traditions that they forget the greater truth: we’re all one body in Christ. The local assembly down your street, though different from yours in style or administration, is still made up of God’s people. Love them. Appreciate them. Pray for them. Honour the work God is doing through them. 

The Bible says in Ephesians 4:4, *“There is one body, and one Spirit….”* We aren’t rivals competing against one another; we’re one body, one family, brothers and sisters in Christ. When this understanding fills your heart, it’ll rid it of jealousy, strife and division to see and relate with fellow Christians with greater love, honour and sincerity because you recognize that the same life of Christ flows through all of us. What a blessing to belong to the family of God; it’s the greatest family in the world. Praise God!

*PRAYER* 

_Dear Father, thank you for making me a member of the body of Christ. I walk in love for the Church and for every member of the family of God. I honour and appreciate your work and your grace in the lives of fellow Christians around the world, and I declare that they’re strong in faith, giving glory to you always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

You served a Pastor, from cleaning his shoes and carrying his Bible to becoming his assistant pastor, now you have your work, you’re impacting your world and fulfilling your God-given purpose and destiny...  𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂? That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment.   SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him.
