*FILTER IT*

_(Guard Your Heart)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*Proverbs 4:23*
_“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life….”_

*LET’S TALK*

Filters are designed to allow only the good parts of a solution or mixture pass through, while the undesirable parts are caught and held back. That’s the same principle the Spirit of God shows us in our opening scripture. Your mind is the door to your spirit, and whatever thoughts or words you allow through will shape your spirit. That’s why you need to screen and filter what enters your heart.

Every day, we hear and see all kinds of information, positive and negative. You need a spiritual filter: guard your heart and refuse to process anything that doesn’t line up with God’s Word. For example, if someone says, *“Life is impossible for teens like us,”* or you hear bad news about the economy, don’t let those words define you. Remind yourself: *“God has great plans for me, and I walk in His blessings.”*

Use the Word of God as your filter to stop wrong thoughts from taking root in your heart. Whatever life you’re living now comes from your thoughts and words. The Bible says, *“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind….”* (Romans 12:2). Transformation starts with your thought patterns. Reject fear, lack, or negativity. Instead, focus on success in school, relationships, talents, and joy that comes from God’s Word.

Choose thoughts of victory, health, prosperity, happiness, and fulfilment—whatever aligns with God’s Word. Every time you scroll, watch a video, or listen to someone, ask: *“Does this encourage God’s truth or plant fear?”* Let His Word guide what you accept. Keep vigilant watch over your heart because what you allow in will shape who you become.

*GO DEEPER*

*Philippians 4:8* Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

*Romans 12:2* And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

*PRAY*

_Dear Father, thank you for your Word that gives me the right information to think and meditate upon. I declare that your Word will continually find a fertile ground in my heart and produce in me everything it talks about, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

*DAILY BIBLE READING*

*ONE YEAR*
Galatians 6:1-18, Amos 1-4

*TWO YEAR*
Luke 24:13-27, 2 Samuel 17-18

*ACT*
When a negative thought tries to settle, open your mouth and reject it. Note: You don’t fight thoughts with thoughts; you fight thoughts with words.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
