*FREEDOM'S TRUE PURPOSE*
*(Serving, Not Indulging)*
📖 *_TO THE BIBLE - Galatians 5:13_*
*_"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."_*
*_LET'S TALK ⏩_*
When you were born again, you were born into a life of absolute liberty in Christ. You became free to live, free to serve God, free to reign and free to love. However, as Christians, the Bible admonishes that we use our liberty in Christ rightly. Under the Old Testament, they could read the commandments to know what to do and what not to do, but the new creation man wasn't given any law to obey: *_"knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers"_* (1 Timothy 1:9).
According to the Bible, it's difficult to impute sin where there's no law (Romans 4:15). Some young Christians are in a dilemma because they've been brought into a life without a list of religious rules. So, they might think, *"I'm free, so I can do whatever I want and get away with it."* The Bible says, *_"as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God"_* (1 Peter 2:16).
The life you live as a child of God should be to the praise and glory of God in all things. Though it's absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life, only make sure that you don't use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that's how freedom grows (Galatians 5:13).
Use your liberty in Christ rightly by doing only those things that please the Father, and the way to please the Father is to walk by faith, which, by extension, is to walk according to the provisions of God's Word. Yes, God isn't imposing rules and regulations on us like a strict principal with a rulebook; He's given us His Word as a guide. But be sure to use your liberty to the praise and glory of His Name.

*_📢 Pray_*
*Dear Father, thank you for the liberty you've given me in Christ Jesus, to be everything that you desire for me to be and to have everything you desire for me to have. I declare that I'm free to serve you, love you, and reign in life as a king. I ask that you help me, through your Word, to take full advantage of my liberty in Christ, while I do only those things that bring glory to you and edify the Church, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*
